I recommend doing this before the user goes to lunch to give outlook enough time to update.
- In outlook go to File > Account Settings > Account Settings > Select your email > Change
- In the new window drag the slider to 6 months and select "More Settings"
- Go to the Advanced tab and uncheck "Download Shared Folders"
- Click Apply, then OK, then Next, then Done, Then Close
- Then close Outlook
- then paste the following into your file explorer and replace Username with your username: C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook
- Delete the username@checkcity.com.ost file (replacing username with your username)
- Then go to the Recycle Bin and permanently delete that file.
- Then open Outlook and give it a while to update.
